Sasuke walked alone throughout the deserted streets of Konoha, His hands shoved deep into his pockets. His only friends had been sent on missions and would not be back for another week. Sasuke sighed sadly and rounded a corner. He regretted his decision almost instantly. Sakura and Ino were headed right towards him. “OH! SASUKE! ~” Sakura cried out waving like an idiot. Sasuke scowled and glared at Sakura before turning on his heels and back around the corner. Ino chuckled at Sakura’s action. She remembered when she would have been acting the same way. But she had matured. She wasn’t like Sakura anymore. Her actions are completely childish, purely immature. Ino had realized the one thing Sakura hadn’t. Sasuke just wasn’t interested. And he NEVER would be. Ino shook her head and turned around. Her back to Sakura. ”I gotta go now, Sakura! Talk to you later!” Ino said breaking out into a run. She really only hid behind a corner and she watched Sakura. She was interested in what Sakura would do if she wasn’t there. She did just as Ino thought. Sakura ran after Sasuke, jumping on his back. “SASUKE!!” She squealed. “SAKURA!” Sasuke yelled angrily. “GET OFF!!” He yelled pushing her off with his foot, roughly. “Sakura! Stay off of me! And stay away from me!” Sasuke said glaring at her. “I mean it!” He threatened coldly. Sakura stared at Sasuke with wide-eyes. Sasuke closed his own black eyes and tried to calm down. “Seriously, Sakura. If I had the slightest bit of interest in you I would tell you. But I have absolutely no feelings for you. So just leave me be.” Sasuke said turning and walking off. Sakura ran home, devastated by Sasuke. Ino jogged to catch up to Sasuke. “You know you kinda snapped I Sakura’s face. “ She said matching Sasuke’s pace. He remained silent. After a minute of silence. “You know, you surprised me. You decided to leave me alone, I mean I know you’re with Choji now, and I don’t have any problems with it. But you just seemed to lose interest in me overnight; I mean you were as obsessed with me as Sakura.” Sasuke said staring at the ground. “It’s puzzled me so.” Sasuke said. “Well I guess I just finally realized that you weren’t interested in me. And you never would be. And I know why” Ino said, looking at Sasuke. “I know why, it’s your secret. I know it” Ino said confidently. Sasuke’s black eyes shot up and stared at Ino incredulously, His eyes were wide. “Yeah that secret, I know that…”
